KiNDRED 2026: Living The Kindred Life

Join a Small or Large Group!

Joining an interchurch small group Bible study is a great way to get involved in the multiethnic family of God. This year, during our KiNDRED series, several groups are forming, we have two large group meetings at UPC and Damascus International Fellowship. These groups will meet in person with a hybrid component and then break up into small groups depending on the size. As we reimagine KiNDRED, we hope that you will join us so you can find one that fits your schedule. We look forward to studying the Word of God with you!

The Kindred Small Group Experience

By choosing to participate in a Kindred small group, you will engage in meaningful discussions with people from a variety of ethnic and cultural backgrounds and different home congregations.

By acting in this season as one big church, we open a channel of multi-ethnic conversation that has some structure and guidance, but it is up to each group and every component member to shape and define their experience.

Multiethnic hands together

This adventure is guaranteed to be messy at times, challenging at times, and uncomfortable at times—for everyone, not just you. We are departing from the safe shore of our familiar congregations and setting sail on a voyage in uncharted waters. The shoals, reefs, rocks, and tricky currents of inter-cultural navigation are tricky.

Fortunately, we have a hope that promises not to disappoint. We believe that each of us on this journey already possesses the one essential component necessary for success—a relationship with Jesus Christ.
